 In 2019, owner and "Culture Concierge" Beth Johnson left a prominent corporate role determined to transform the workplace. Today, we partner with gutsy leaders as they flip the script to cultivate and uphold people-first cultures. We focus on six core leadership principles, all inextricably tied to emotional agility, conscientious communication, and conflict management. 

As a leader in both the U.S. and Europe, Johnson reenergized and reorganized multiple teams formerly labeled disengaged, fatigued, or failing. Beth has always promoted human-centric leadership, and her 20+ years of experience have proven that ROI follows. 

Progress-by-Design was created with this ethos: it all starts with people, and nothing is achieved without intent and planning. Employee engagement, performance, company culture, and progress are all -- by design.

Our approach is three-fold:

1. Retain valuable talent by providing the care and support they need.
2. Cultivate a culture where people want to stay and others are drawn to work.
3. Enhance communication skills, particularly in conflict situations.

By focusing on these three steps, the rest naturally follows. While this is not the entirety of the process, we believe that addressing these core areas handles 90% of the work.
